200 Lies a Day

It's no secret that we all lie. Daily. Most of the time, we don't even know we're doing it. A little white lie here, an embellishment there... who is it going to hurt, right? Well, to someone who has been lied to her whole life, her very existence one big fat lie; even the smallest lie can turn into something that is astronomical. It's like a snowball effect. One person tells a lie to another. Why? Well, lets say they have a personal grudge or jealousy toward them. Trying to get another to see it their way, a little lie won't hurt right? Wrong. This lie then gets tossed around, whispered down the lane and years later, ends up being something that is so blown out of proportion the person the lie is about (say ME, for example) never had a prayer to defend, stand up or set things right, let alone confront the jealous party and ask "why?" Any attempts from that point forward to mend fences, show the person that forgiveness is within reach is held in vain. Even the kindest written letter can be turned from that to a manipulative tactic because that is how it is desired to be seen. So you can't even reach out and try to create bridges when there is already fire underneath and motions in place to destroy it before it started. Children then become involved; used as weapons and puppets to hurt and scorn. THIS is where I draw the line. And others I have come to know as well, in my same situation, have drawn it too. Do what you want to me; say what you want. Hurt me, kick me, lie about me, spread your rumors and make up your dreams of what you think I am but never EVER use MY CHILD as a reason to hurt me. Or use your OWN for that matter. Anyone that will use their own child as a weapon is far too gone for help. Professional grade help is needed and those children will grow up just as hurt and confused about their parents more than anyone else. Children deserve the TRUTH. Not some fabricated, jealous lie that has someone so engulfed in themselves that they can't see what could happen down the road. You say terrible things about a child to their mother, you hold a young child accountable for problems that only the adults have created and expect others to not think you are absolutely out of your mind?

Be aware you are being lied to; at work, at home, at school. By your friends, your family, your co-workers or a total stranger. If you are told 200 Lies a day, what about life is honest?

Scorned

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned..."

No phrase written on the face of the earth could not have been more true. And believe me, a woman doesn't necessarily get scorned by her lover. She is lied to and back stabbed by her best friends, her family and sometimes, she is her own worse enemy. Backing a scorned woman into a corner is bound to have some most violent and turbulent consequences. I have had a lifetime of lies thrown at me, as we all well know, by people I trusted with my life. And in doing so, I lost parts of my life I can never get back and wish I had followed that little voice in my head that said "don't listen to her, she isn't telling you the whole story". When you trust blindly as I, you are destined to become a furious, scorned woman. There are parts of me that throw up my past and let the wind take it away. "See you never!" I would say. Then, there is the other part of me; the anger and betrayal that I feel, that wants my revenge. My Fury can't get me what I want. To tell her she's a bitch, that she is a perfect example of WHY I do not trust anyone. If someone is so powerful that their lies are able to craft someone else's main existence then there is nothing one can do about it; unless they realize their problem as physiological and seeks professional help. But I doubt that. People in "power positions" like this tend to feed off the high they gain after they tell their lies and they are believed.

So go on with yourself. You've tried to take me down and tried to ruin me. You have only made me more aware of myself, my priorities and truth in love and lies. I know how to read people and their true intentions. Thanks to you, no one can be fake to me; because I have known fakeness my entire life. Go pity on yourself. Feel "sorry" for what you didn't do... blame yourself to those who will listen. I know it is just an act and you feel nothing. In the end, I believe your goal is to be alone. Now that I am out, who is next to go?

You've got to pick someone....

Fuckin' A; Part Duex

Listen up Verizon peoples. Don't fuckin' lie to your customers. If you make a defective product, just own up to it and replace it. It would seem as if you have taught your fantastic employee's how to be deceptive and lie like criminals when they come to you for help. This is the second time I have gone into this Verizon store and been fucked up by a Verizon employee.

My one year anniversary came up with Verizon. When you're with Verizon, every year you can replace your phone with a new contract (or something like that). I wanted my Blackberry. I've been waiting a whole damn year for it and I was excited to finally have it. I had it for one week. Then, Saturday morning, I woke up to a completely fried Blackberry. I am serious. The phone was friggin' how as hell as if it had been lit on fire! I don't claim to know a lot about cell phones, but I know enough that a phone that heats up like that is not a good one. So I took the battery out, let it cool down and I went about my morning. When I put the battery back into the phone the phone was dead. I had to put aside all my things to do for Saturday, pack up my son and off we went on an adventure to the Verizon store.

So Frank was nice. He told me the battery was bad and so was the phone. He gave me a new phone, set me up with my email and all my apps, uploaded my phone numbers. I go home and turn the phone off to charge it. You know how irritating it is when you buy a new phone and it has maybe one bar of battery available to you so you have to charge it a bit before you can use it?

This is what I did. I went about my Saturday. Took my son out to get ready for Football Sunday, bought toys for the baby and the kids and had a nice dinner out together. Sunday morning rolls around and I have to get ready for the day. We're headed out for Football!! I go back to my phone (that has been next to my bed during the evening OFF the charger) and SHAZHAMMM!! Dead. No response. FUCKIN' A! REALLY? I was at the Verizon store before it even opened, waiting. Of course, I had others waiting with me, but I was there first. Waiting a good 20 minuets for the doors to open. I felt the older customers waiting with me were going to try and push me aside when the doors open, kinda like the mad dash when it's Black Friday so I just stood at the door, against it, until the manager opened the door and I was the first one in for Tech Support.

The woman who helped me was very good. Very kind. But she informed me that the notes on my account said that I was given a new battery NOT a new phone... giving me a new battery wasn't going to do anything because the problem was a defective PHONE. When this Verizon rep replaced a display model with my battery, the phone turned on. My phone was shot. I made sure this time, that she came out with a new box and charger for me. I gave her my old charger in case the charger was somehow defective too.

So I had to sit for another freaking hour as she switched all my stuff all over again. I wonder what Frank was doing to my phone when he said he was uploading all my phone numbers in the back office... was he stealing the new phone he said he was giving me? Whatever.

I hate liars. I hate being lied to. And what is in it for this Verizon rep to lie to me that he gave me a new phone when he didn't? The only thing I can think of is that he was fuckin' lazy and didn't feel like doing what he should have to help me.

In any event, now I have my second, possibly third, Blackberry on my belt. Lets hope this one stays alive.

How many lies will you tell...

...before you start to believe them?? What I find fucking unbelievable is the self loathing I have come to see in my fellow man in recent weeks. Why do so many people feel the need to direct their anger that belongs in a completely different place towards someone who really has nothing to do with it? I find these cases mostly at the Supermarket. I believe you are familiar with how much I HATE THE SUPERMARKET. Something always goes down, gets on my nerves or makes me want to vomit when I go food shopping. Which is partly why I spare my son the disgrace of humans fending for food (which is typically what we end up doing at the market) by going while he's in school and not drag him along. Hell, I remember being dragged along with my Grandmother when I was a child and just how much I hated it! I hated it then and I hate it now.

Anyway, I'm getting off track. People really hate themselves. I rarely see someone, at least in my area of Florida, where someone is genuine in their smiles and laugh. In the Supermarket, I watched as a young woman with a child (who seemed more like a nanny and not the mother of the child because of how more connected she was with the child... why is that? Well, here in Florida, many woman are so wealthy they can afford nanny's to raise their kids and the nanny's tend to have more of a connection with the children then their own parents) but this Mommy-Nanny (whatever) was clearly agitated from an unknown previous problem that most likely occurred before she even entered the supermarket. None-the-less, an older woman (who I am usually at war with but was supportive of here) accidentally bumped into her cart (as the Mommy-Nanny had her cart halfway out in the isle) and the Mommy-Nanny went fucking off her rocker! I mean, she really LIT into this woman that I thought for sure she was going to punch her. The child started crying and the old woman started crying, saying she hadn't meant to bump her cart. "Put your bifocals on you old bitch" this woman said. I was amazed at how everyone was more entertained and watching than concerned and about to step in. So, sizing up myself, the woman with the child and the older lady, I stepped in between them. "Why don't you take a moment to calm down. I am sure this can be resolved-" but I couldn't finish. Like most self loating, hateful people who project their anger onto the innocent and those more likely to just take it, she prevented me from continuing to talk. She was so close in my face, I could smell her breath. "What an example you are setting for your child. You must be so proud of yourself" I said. "Why don't you just get yourself out and walk away? Is that so hard? Figure out what the fuck you're REALLY angry about and GET CONTROL of yourself!" She stared at me a moment, the older woman calmed down a bit. I think the situation had run it course and the woman knew I was speaking reasonably.
Everyone kinda just diffused after that and went their own ways. I was wondering the rest of my shopping where the fuck the managers where. Do you notice a common theme in things that happen when your out at a store and the managers are MIA? It happens more than you think, or like it to be but I think, especially in my town, the management pool is crap. They're either teenagers, college students half hungover or an Adult trying to fit in with the kids and teens more than doing a good job.
Still, the point of me sharing this story is that I am sick and fucking tired of people who spit out their anger that they actually probably feel for themselves at someone who least deserves it. It is easy to spit at someone that you think or see as weak.

How many lies must a person tell themselves before they start believing them? If you have a problem with someone, talk with them and not through a third party. You can't expect someone to know something is wrong if you keep it inside and then let it explode on someone who would never see it coming. So I challenge you to take a look at your anger when you feel it and try to find out where it's REALLY coming from. Whose problem is it that you are angry and about to blow? The other person's? No. Get over yourself. Seriously, take control of your own anger and stop blaming everyone else that steps in your path. I know a few people in my life could certainly benefit from a little truth.
